A note from Erica Elliott

After retiring from a career in insurance and education, I discovered a new passion — bringing people together. I became a certified pickleball coach and began teaching lessons, clinics and organizing social events. Along the way, I realized that people were looking for more than just a game. They were looking for connection — opportunities to stay active, learn something new, make friends and simply have fun.

That realization inspired Elliott Connects. I wanted to take the sense of community that I enjoyed in pickleball and expand it beyond the courts. Today, that means everything from Pickleball lessons and events, teaching canasta, Mah Jongg, and Samba, hosting social events like Music Bingo & Bunco and other social experiences.

I believe friendship, laughter and shared experiences help keep us young at heart. Through Elliott Connects, my goal is to create those opportunities while also partnering with and supporting the local businesses that make Gainesville such a special community.
